Israel has confirmed new cases of COVID-19 within its borders. Please check the Israeli Ministry of Health (MOH) guidance (insert the link here https://www.gov.il/en/departments/ministry_of_health/govil-landing-page )and/or the guidelines regarding personal movement, gatherings, transportation, and businesses https://www.gov.il/en/departments/topics/corona-main-sub_By now, borders are closed for foreign passengers except for individual tourists with a special permit issued by the Population and Immigration authorities or pilot groups with special authorization with the cooperation of the Ministry of Tourism. Only vaccinated foreign passengers are allowed to enter Israel at this time or covid recovered passengers. (A valid vaccination certificate or covid certificate recovery will be required) .

All foreign passengers will have to show a negative PCR test carried out in 72 hours prior to the flight. This is a requirement to board the flight.
COVID-19 Testing
- Are PCR and/or antigen tests available for U.S. citizens in Israel? Yes at the personal expense at the airport at arrival once landing in Israel
- If so, are test results reliably available within 72 hours? Yes
- A serological test will be mandatory at arrival for tourists: It must be done in one of the hospitals listed by the Ministry of Health at personal expense.
- Time the results will be delivered, quarantine will be mandatory at the hotel (within 24h- 48h)
- If the location you are traveling to requires getting tested before leaving Israel, you can schedule a testing appointment at your own expense with one of the medical centers in Israel offering coronavirus tests.

Many local hospitals, clinics, and laboratories offer testing for travel purposes. Travelers are responsible for the costs of their own tests and any associated medical care. Testing in a state hospital costs NIS 297 max per test. The cost can change from time to time.
